Opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)!
Role Overview:
Currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join its dynamic team. The PTA will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to provide treatments and support to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer treatments as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of physical therapy equipment.
- Complete mandatory training programs to stay current with healthcare practices.
- Document patient progress and treatments in the electronic medical record system.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must possess a current PTA license in the state of Texas.
- Experience with or knowledge of treating individuals with severe mental illness is preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with an unpaid lunch break)
- Flexible hours may be required to accommodate patient needs.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a valid photo ID and American Heart Association CPR certification.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Card (if applicable).
- Must pass a urine drug screen and background check.
- Must clear FBI fingerprint background check
